Cross River State Governor Ben Ayade yesterday ordered a multi-million naira cocoa house in Ikom Local Government Area of ​​Cross River State to boost cocoa production in the state.

The Cocoa Guesthouse, which is being built by industry players, would help provide accommodation for businessmen and women visiting the state when the ultra-morderm cocoa processing plant was built. by the Ayade administration becomes fully operational.

Representing the state governor at the ceremony, APC state party chairman Alphonsu Ogar commended the Cocoa Association of Nigeria (CAN) state branch for its development and prayed to God to protect the guests who might come to stay in the house.

In his remarks, the president of the state association, Ejor Obi, said that as an association, they are fully prepared for the increased production of cocoa products.

“We are committed to working to increase local cocoa production, increase its economic importance and attract more investment to our farms and, by extension, to the economy of the state and the region. nation as a whole”, declared the president of the CAN.
