LIDDINGTON: An application has been made to the Swindon Licensing Authority for a premises license from Alexander Ford for The Ridgeway Barns wedding and events venue in Liddington Warren.

The app aims to provide alcohol from 7:00 a.m. to midnight Monday and 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday, as well as playing live and recorded music from 11:00 a.m. to midnight Monday and 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday, as well as providing late night refreshments from 11:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. Monday and 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

The full application can be viewed at the offices of the Licensing Authority, Swindon Borough Council, Wat Tyler West Floor 5, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

ALDBOURNE: Three planning applications (reference PL/2022/01109, PL/2022/01111 & PL/2022/01112) propose to change the land of Dudmore Lodge on Ogbourne Road to residential with a proposed pool house and swimming pool, converting a building and stable into an annex, and carrying out a phased development which includes the demolition of a Dutch barn farm building, the construction of an attic garage for residential use and the conversion of a farm building into a pleasure building for an adjoining house.

DAUNTSEY: The agricultural barns at Little Smithcot Farm could be converted to residential use and undergo modifications if a development application (reference PL/2022/02445) is approved.

BOX: A planning application (reference PL/2022/02531) proposes the removal of the fifth condition for application reference 17/07028/REM which concerns land south of Bradford Road in Rudloe.

PURTON: An urban planning request (reference PL/2022/02593) wishes to add canopies to a Packhorse property.

Opinions relating to these planning applications for listed buildings must be submitted before May 5, 2022, mentioning the reference number. All views expressed regarding a development application will be considered and placed on a file open to the public.

OLD CITY: A planning application (reference S/LDE/22/0339LZWI) hopes to acquire a certificate of legality for the use of four apartments at Clifton House on Lethbridge Road.

Another application (reference S/LBC/22/0472PIMO) wishes to convert Appsbroker House on The Square from an office building into 14 apartments, with a related application (reference S/22/0425PIMO) detailing a similar change and associated works .

A garden room and swimming pool can be built at the rear of a property on The Quarries if a planning application (reference S/HOU/22/0463RACH) is approved.

RODBOURNE: A planning application (reference S/LBC/22/0449PIMO) proposes to add a new opening for Churchward House on Fire Fly Avenue through an existing interior wall.

HINTON PARVA: The Chalet on Church Row could be demolished to build a dwelling instead (reference S/22/0461RACH) without compliance with condition 2, approved drawings, of a previously approved application (reference S/21/1426) .

WROUGHTON: Farmland to the rear of three properties on Priors Hill could be turned into home gardens if the plans (reference S/22/0452LZWI) are approved.
